We give thanks for the recent youth ministry training at All Saints’ Cathedral in Zamalek, Cairo, Egypt, where The Most Revd Dr Samy Fawzy, a member of the Gafcon Primates Council, gathered with leaders committed to raising the next generation in Christ. We praise God for this investment in young people across the Alexandria Region and beyond.
We are especially grateful for the ministry of the Revd Canon Craig Roberts, leader of the Gafcon Youth and Children’s Network, joined by the Revd Mike Dicker, Dean of Youthworks College. As they equipped and encouraged youth leaders, they reminded us that the Gospel must shape heart, mind, and life, forming disciples who make disciples.
Please pray for strength, wisdom, and perseverance for all who serve children and youth. Pray that, as Gafcon continues to grow orthodox leaders, young people across our Communion will be rooted in God’s Word, alive to his Spirit, and courageous in living out their faith. Pray that this training will bear lasting fruit in faithful discipleship and Gospel growth.
