Please pray for an important partnership this week between Youthworks College in Sydney and the Bishop Tucker School of Divinity and Theology at Uganda Christian University. Uganda has one of the world’s youngest populations, with a median age of around 17, making effective ministry among children and young people especially vital.
Give thanks for Canon Craig Roberts, CEO of Youthworks and Leader of the Gafcon Youth and Children’s Ministry Network, and for this partnership forged through the Network in Abuja. Pray for the Youthworks faculty as they help their Ugandan colleagues review their curriculum to better equip graduates to engage young hearts and minds with the gospel.
Please also pray for The Most Revd Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, Primate and Archbishop of the Church of Uganda and Chancellor of Uganda Christian University, as he encourages contextually appropriate training of faithful leaders for the next generation.
