We give thanks to God for the consecration of the Rt Revd Victor Condori Chipana as Bishop in the Anglican Diocese of Peru, held on 30 August 2025 at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd in Lima. The Most Revd Dr Miguel Uchoa, Archbishop of the Anglican Church in Brazil and Vice Chairman of the Gafcon Primates Council, was present to share in this joyful occasion, reminding us of our fellowship in Christ across the nations.
Pray for Bishop Victor as he begins the next phase of his ministry, asking the Lord to grant him wisdom, courage, and faithfulness in preaching the gospel and shepherding God’s people. May his leadership bear fruit in discipleship, evangelism, and the raising up of new servants for Christ. We remember also his family, clergy colleagues, and all the congregations entrusted to his care.
Finally, pray for the Diocese of Peru and for all orthodox Anglicans throughout South America, that their witness will remain firmly grounded in God’s Word. May the Lord strengthen their leaders to uphold the truth of Scripture, as we long to see the Bible at the heart of the Anglican Communion, for the glory of God.
