We grieve with our brothers and sisters in the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) following the horrific murder of Venerable Edwin Achi of the Diocese of Kaduna. A faithful priest, husband, and father, his life of quiet service and devotion has been cruelly cut short, leaving a deep wound in the Church and nation.
We join the Primate Henry C. Ndukuba, a member of the Gafcon Primates’ Council, in condemning this violence and in pleading for justice. We especially pray for the immediate and unconditional release of his wife and daughter, and for all who remain in captivity across Nigeria.
May the God of all comfort uphold the Achi family, strengthen His Church, and bring peace and healing to this grieving nation. Come, Lord Jesus.
