We give thanks for the reaffirmation by the Gafcon Primates’ Council at the 16th October meeting, stating that assent to the Jerusalem Declaration of 2008 defines membership in the Global Anglican Communion.
What a wondrous day it was when the Lord first brought our leaders together in Jerusalem for that historic moment, and what a blessing it is that this faithful confession continues to this day to unite Anglicans around the authority of Scripture and the gospel of grace.
Join with us in praying that every Anglican province will stand firm in guarding God’s gospel, joyfully proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord and teaching the faith once delivered to the saints. May this declaration continue to anchor our unity and strengthen our witness throughout the world.
