Please pray for the All Anglican Teachers’ Conference, underway at St. Janani Luwum Senior Secondary School in Bombo, Uganda, bringing together teachers from Church of Uganda-founded schools across the country.
Meeting from 26–28 August under the theme “Anchored in Christ for Peace, Unity, and Stability,” the conference was officially opened by the Rt Revd Frederick Jackson Baalwa, Assistant Bishop of the Diocese of Kampala.
Anglican schools have a vital ministry in educating and forming the next generation in the truth of God’s word. Across the Global Anglican Communion, faithful Christian education plays an important part in strengthening the Church and equipping future generations for gospel ministry.
Please pray that this conference will encourage these teachers in their calling and help the Church of Uganda continue growing orthodox leaders for generations to come.
