Please pray for the new Peace and Conflict Resolution Initiative (PACRI), launched this week by the Primate and Archbishop of the Church of Uganda and member of the Global Anglican Council, The Most Revd Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, during International Youth Day celebrations in Bombo.
Give thanks for this initiative, which will equip young people to become agents of peace and reconciliation through biblical leadership, dialogue, justice, human dignity and non-violence. Pray especially for the Youth Peace Ambassadors who will serve across dioceses, and for wisdom for the Steering Committee overseeing this important ministry.
As we seek to grow orthodox leaders, pray that God will raise up young Ugandan Christians who are firmly grounded in his Word and equipped to bring the hope and peace of Christ into communities affected by division, conflict and misinformation.
