Today we give thanks for the Annunciation, when the angel declared to the Virgin Mary the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and God’s saving purposes were further fulfilled. This moment reminds us that the gospel we guard is not our own invention, but the gracious initiative of God, revealed in the incarnation of his Son.
Pray that we, like Mary, would receive God’s word with humility and faith, trusting his promises even when the cost is great. Ask that the Global Anglican Communion would be steadfast in proclaiming Christ crucified and risen, holding firmly to the truth once delivered.
Pray that through the Cross and passion of Christ, many would be brought to the glory of his resurrection, as we go out to every nation with confidence in his grace and power.
