We pray for The Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK), which comprises 41 dioceses across Kenya. It became an autonomous province in 1970, following the division of the Province of East Africa into separate entities for Kenya and Tanzania.
Since 2016, the Primate and Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya is The Most Rev’d Jackson Ole Sapit. His leadership has been marked by a focus on church unity, theological education, and social engagement. Under his guidance, the ACK has emphasised the importance of the local church as a community hub for spiritual, social, and economic development. He has also been instrumental in the consecration of new bishops and the establishment of new dioceses, fostering growth and revitalisation within the church.
The ACK is actively involved in various social initiatives, including education, healthcare, and community development, striving to be a transformative presence in Kenyan society.
