We pray for The Anglican Church of Chile (Iglesia Anglicana de Chile, IACH), which was established in 2018, in Santiago. Formerly part of the Anglican Church of South America, it achieved provincial status following significant growth.
The church comprises four dioceses: Santiago, Valparaíso, Concepción (now known as the South of Chile), and Araucanía. These dioceses serve a diverse population, with congregations conducting services in Spanish and English, (and sometimes with some prayers in Mapudungun.) St. Paul's Cathedral in Valparaíso is a notable landmark and the first Anglican cathedral in Chile.
The Primate is The Most Rev’d Enrique Lago, who was installed earlier this year. He continues to serve as the Bishop of the South of Chile and is noted for his commitment to church planting, orthodox Anglicanism, and evangelical theology.
