Please join us in giving thanks to God for the Jerusalem Declaration, adopted at the first GAFCON Conference in June 2008, when faithful Anglicans gathered in Jerusalem to defend the biblical gospel and proclaim Christ to the nations.
Give thanks for the courageous leadership of Archbishop Peter Akinola, Archbishop Peter Jensen, and many other faithful bishops, clergy and lay leaders who stood firm for biblical truth during a time of great uncertainty within the Anglican Communion.
Praise God that their courage and conviction helped establish Gafcon and provided a lasting foundation for the Global Anglican Communion. Please pray that we will honour their legacy, remaining faithful to Scripture, united in Christ, and committed to proclaiming his saving gospel throughout the world.
