We give thanks for the clarity of conviction in the statement approved last week by our Gafcon Primates’ Council, affirming that communion cannot continue with those who have rejected the authority of Scripture or overturned Lambeth Resolution I.10 of 1998.
We honour the courage of faithful Anglicans who have stood firm amid the pressure to depart from the truth and to wander from God’s way.
We pray that our Global Anglican Communion will keep guarding God’s gospel with both truth and grace, calling those who err to repentance, and strengthening fellowship among all who hold fast to the Word of God. May there be courage and strength as we contend for the faith once delivered to the saints.
