Please give thanks to God for the glorious gospel through which we have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. This wonderful truth stands at the heart of the first article of the Jerusalem Declaration.
Praise God that our salvation rests not upon our achievements, but upon his grace in Jesus. Because God first loved us, we are called to love him, with lives bearing the fruit of that salvation: love, ongoing repentance, lively hope and thanksgiving to God in all things.
Please pray that throughout the Global Anglican Communion we will continue to rejoice in this gospel. May the Holy Spirit strengthen us to trust in Christ, grow in love and repentance, live with lively hope, and give thanks to God in all circumstances.
