We give thanks to God for the dedication of our Bible readers to the public reading of Scripture, as they help us keep the Bible at the centre of our local Anglican church services everywhere around the world, every day of the week.
Pray that those who serve in this ministry would continue to recognise the importance and value of leading the congregation in this way, and that they would be eager to develop this ministry through careful and prayerful preparation.
We pray that our churches everywhere would dedicate themselves to guard God’s gospel through public Bible reading, so that we might truly see the Bible at the heart of the Anglican Communion.
