We give thanks to God for the ministry of EKKIOS, an extra-provincial diocese of the Global Anglican Communion, led by the Rt Revd Dr Yassir Eric, Presiding Bishop of EKKIOS.
We praise God for Afghans, particularly from the Hazara people, who are coming to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Many face uncertainty, displacement, rejection and persecution, yet continue faithfully to follow Christ and serve his people.
Please pray for God’s provision, protection and peace for those awaiting resettlement, and for courage and perseverance for their leaders. As the Global Anglican Communion seeks to grow orthodox leaders, pray that EKKIOS will continue equipping faithful disciples to know Christ, proclaim his gospel, and stand firm even amid suffering.
