Today we pray for the Gafcon Oceania Region, remembering the Regional Secretary, The Rt Revd Malcolm Richards, who also serves as Bishop for International Relations in the Diocese of Sydney.
This region includes Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, and is home to several million Anglicans within a population of around 45 million people. Churches here play a significant role in theological education and global mission.
Gafcon-aligned bodies include the Diocese of Sydney, the Diocese of the Southern Cross, the Church of Confessing Anglicans Aotearoa/New Zealand, and the recognised Gafcon Australia branch. We thank God for faithful teaching and generous partnership, and we pray for renewed evangelism and continued commitment to God’s Word.
