Prayer Update:

Madagascar Unrest

The Right Reverend Darrell Critch, Missionary Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Mahajanga, Madagascar, asks us to join in prayer for the people of Madagascar. Unrest has broken out in Mahajanga and across the nation. Poverty has driven many young people into rebellion, with looting, violence, and loss of life.

This week, tear gas was thrown into the Eveche (the old Bishop’s house), where the Diocesan Administrator, one of his deacons, and several families live. Their children are suffering with eyes harmed by the gas.

Let us pray for calm, justice, and hope for Madagascar, and ask that our Anglican believers will have boldness and clarity as they have opportunities to speak the truth of Jesus to a troubled world. (Photo: CrabeXBug)
