Prayer Update:

Madagascar Cyclone

Please pray for Madagascar after Cyclone Gezani devastated Toamasina, leaving at least 35 dead and around 250,000 affected. Homes have collapsed, streets are flooded, and many communities remain without power.

Among those impacted is the Revd Berthier Lainirina, Provincial Secretary of the Church of the Province of the Indian Ocean (which includes Madagascar) and Dean and Principal of St Patrick’s Theological College in Toliara, Madagascar. Though spared from injury, his parents’ home was destroyed and many church families face profound loss.

As Gafcon continues generating missional resources to the glory of God, we encourage support through the Emergency Fund of Anglican Aid, a major sponsor of the upcoming G26 Conference in Abuja, Nigeria: https://anglicanaid.org.au/emergencyfund/

Pray for comfort, provision, and Christ’s unshakable hope in this hour of urgent need.
