We praise God for the the ministry of the Gafcon Youth and Children’s Ministry Network, which has brought together over Zoom the Principal of Youthworks College, The Revd Mike Dicker, for the training of 25 youth pastors across Kenya, Ghana, DRC, Nigeria and South Africa in the course ‘Biblical Principles of Contextualised Youth Ministry.’
The goal of the training is to equip those who seek to reach, win and disciple our young people with the biblical knowledge and practical tools build effective youth and children’s ministries in local churches.
With 60% of Africa under the age of 25, and almost no formal pastor training in youth ministry, our prayer is that this initiative will bear long term fruit in local churches everywhere.
