Today we pray for the annual Gafcon Australia Board intensive, as members gather on Wednesday and Thursday of this week in Sydney from across the country to prayerfully consider the strategic plan of the Gafcon Australia Branch.
We give thanks for the faithful leadership of The Revd Peter Smith, Chair of the Gafcon Australia Branch, and we ask that the Lord would grant him wisdom, clarity, and humility as he leads the meeting.
Please pray for unity among the Board, for careful discernment in setting priorities, and for courage to act faithfully in a changing cultural context. Pray also as they consider preparations for the Gafcon Australia Conference, to be held in Melbourne from 9–12 November 2026, as Anglicans gather for teaching, fellowship, and encouragement. May the Lord strengthen this work for the good of His Church and the glory of His name.
