Today we pray for the twelve speakers who are preparing to address the plenary sessions at the G26 Conference. As they work together to unpack the October 16 Martyrs’ Day Statement, we ask that the Lord would grant them wisdom, clarity, and conviction in all they say.
Pray that their teaching will faithfully reflect the truth of God’s Word and help all who are present to understand the significance of this statement for our life together. May they assist delegates to think carefully, prayerfully, and courageously about the issues before us.
We also pray that the consultation groups will be well prepared to respond thoughtfully, offering clear and helpful feedback to the Statement Writing Group, as it prepares a statement that will bring clarity and direction for the future of the Global Anglican Communion.
