We give thanks to God for the second day of the Gafcon Global G26 Conference at St Matthias House, the national headquarters of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion). We praise God for the plenary consultation addresses expounding the first half of the historic October 16 Martyrs Day Statement, and for the opportunity for every delegate to gather in Consultation Groups to contribute thoughtfully to the shaping of the statement that will be presented later this week.
Please pray as the conference moves into its third day. Ask that it would be a significant time of prayerful deliberation as delegates consider together the shape of the emerging Global Anglican Communion.
Pray that the Lord would grant wisdom, unity, and clarity as this historic moment unfolds.
