As we mark four weeks until the historic G26 Conference begins in Abuja, Nigeria, pray with thanksgiving for this first official gathering of the Global Anglican Communion. Give thanks for the anticipated coming together of around 400 bishops and key leaders, and for the opportunity to consult, listen, and stand together in faithfulness to God’s Word.
Please pray urgently for provision. At present, more than 50 bishops and leaders are unable to attend because there are not yet enough bursaries to support their travel and accommodation. Pray especially for leaders from Africa and South America, for whom the cost is a significant barrier.
Pray that God would stir hearts toward generosity in these final weeks, that resources would be released quickly, and that the conference would reflect the full breadth of our global fellowship.
