Prayer Update:

Dedication of Kiambu Cathedral, Kenya

We give thanks to Almighty God for an historic and joyful moment in the life of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) as the Diocese of Mount Kenya South consecrated and dedicated its first-ever diocesan cathedral at ACK St James’, Kiambu. This milestone stands as a powerful testimony to God’s faithfulness and the sacrificial generosity of his people.

Led by the Rt Revd Bishop Charles Muturi, clergy of the diocese gathered with visiting pastors and leaders from across church and society to mark this moment of thanksgiving. The completion of this cathedral reflects a shared commitment to prayer, gospel proclamation, and mission for generations to come.

We also give thanks for the wider leadership of the Church in Kenya, including The Most Revd Jackson Ole Sapit, Archbishop of Kenya and Primate of the Anglican Church of Kenya, a member of the Gafcon Primates Council. We pray that this cathedral will be a beacon of Christ’s truth, unity, and hope in Kenya and beyond.
