Please pray for the 15th General Synod of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), meeting this week in Ikenne-Remo, hosted by the Diocese of Remo and Archbishop Michael Fape, under the leadership of The Most Revd Dr Henry Ndukuba, Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria and member of the Global Anglican Council.
Please pray for faithful Bible teaching and wise deliberations as the Synod considers church governance, civic engagement, health and other matters affecting its witness. Pray especially for today’s consecration of four new bishops, that they will faithfully shepherd God’s people and proclaim Christ.
Please pray that the Synod’s theme, “The Priesthood of All Believers,” will encourage every Anglican to be equipped for ministry and faithful gospel witness throughout Nigeria.
