Prayer Update:

Church of Nigeria Day of Prayer

We give thanks for the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), which gathered last week for a national day of prayer. Across the nation, Anglicans gave thanks for God’s sustaining grace, the growth of the Church, and the health of their leaders. Together they confessed sin, prayed for revival, and sought God’s protection over their communities and churches.

They lifted prayers for upcoming programmes, for new bishops and dioceses, for peace in Nigeria, and for godly leaders to guide the nation’s future. Their petitions rang with urgency—for deliverance from violence, corruption, and idolatry, and for a fresh move of God across Africa.

May this devotion inspire Anglican churches worldwide to pray regularly, trusting the Spirit to keep the Bible at the heart of our Communion.
