We give thanks for the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), which gathered last week for a national day of prayer. They lifted prayers for upcoming programmes, for new bishops and dioceses, for peace in Nigeria, and for godly leaders to guide the nation’s future. Their petitions rang with urgency—for deliverance from violence, corruption, and idolatry, and for a fresh move of God across Africa.
