We pray today for the ninth Bishops Training Institute as it begins in Abuja, Nigeria. Twenty-one bishops are gathering, together with sixteen of their wives and a team of thirteen leaders, under the able direction of Bishop Francis Karemera, the Coordinator of the Bishops Training Institute. Give thanks for their safe arrival and for this focused four-day season of learning, fellowship, and strengthening in ministry.
This training is strategically scheduled immediately before the Gafcon Global G26 Conference, providing a wider context for this specialised ministry. Pray that the teaching, discussion, and prayer will be deeply rooted in Scripture and shaped by gospel conviction.
Ask that BTI-9 will greatly encourage these bishops as they guard God’s gospel, grow orthodox leaders, and generate missional resources, to the glory of God.
