We give thanks to God for the Bishops Training Institute (BTI), through which Gafcon has been equipping bishops for faithful, biblical leadership for the past decade.
We especially give thanks for BTI-9, held in Abuja, Nigeria, immediately before G26 in March. Bishops from across the Global Anglican Communion received teaching in biblical theology, Anglican ecclesiology and practical ministry leadership, while learning from and encouraging one another. We also praise God for the dedicated program for bishops’ wives.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to use BTI to strengthen these bishops as faithful shepherds of God’s people. Pray that, as iron sharpens iron, this important ministry will continue Growing Orthodox Leaders who courageously guard and proclaim the gospel throughout the Global Anglican Communion.
