We give thanks to God for the appointment of Bishop Ryan Reed as Assistant Dean of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). Following prayerful consultation, Bishop Julian Dobbs, Dean and Acting Archbishop of the ACNA, and a member of the Global Anglican Council, has made this important appointment as the Province continues to strengthen its leadership for gospel ministry.
Please pray for Bishop Ryan as he begins this new responsibility, that the Lord will grant him wisdom, humility, and strength. Pray also for the ACNA, that God will continue to guide its bishops and leaders to serve with faithfulness, courage, and godly wisdom, guarding the truth of his Word, proclaiming the gospel of Christ, and shepherding his people well.
May the Lord continue to build his Church through faithful leaders, so that his name is honoured and the gospel advances throughout North America and beyond.
