We give thanks to God for Archbishop Laurent Mbanda, Chairman of the Global Anglican Council, and Bishop Paul Donison, General Secretary, as preparations continue for GAFCON V in Athens, Greece, 23–28 April 2028.
Pictured together at the Areopagus during their visit to Athens in June, they stand where the Apostle Paul proclaimed Christ to the people of that city. With 594 days to go, important preparations are already underway, including arrangements for hotels, conference venues, excursions and other logistics.
Please pray for the Global Anglican Council and Secretariat as together they shape this significant week of ministry. Pray that the Lord will raise up the right people from across our Global Anglican Communion to attend, and that Athens 2028 will be a significant moment as we seek to proclaim Christ faithfully to our world.
