Today we pray for the Gafcon Asia Region, remembering the Regional Secretary, The Rt Revd Clement Sun Oo, Bishop of Pyay in the Church of the Province of Myanmar.
Asia is home to many millions of Anglicans within a population of more than four billion people, often serving as a small but faithful minority amid great religious diversity and, in some places, persecution.
The Gafcon presence includes the Church of the Province of Myanmar, together with Anglican dioceses and mission partnerships across South, East, and Southeast Asia, including emerging Gafcon branches. We give thanks for perseverance under pressure and bold gospel witness, and we pray for peace, protection, and the raising up of faithful leaders to proclaim Christ across Asia.
