We give thanks to God for the announcement by the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) of the consent by their House of Bishops to the elections of the Rev. Canon Dr. Jeff Bailey as Bishop-elect and Rev. Canon Marc Steele as Suffragan Bishop-elect, and we remain in prayer for the ACNA Provincial Council as it continues to meet this week in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, USA.
Join with us in praying for all the newer bishops in Gafcon provinces and dioceses around the world, that they will diligently preach God’s word and duly administer godly discipline, and that those under their leadership would obediently follow them, that they may receive the crown of everlasting glory through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Pray also for the planning for the next Gafcon Bishops’ Training Institute (BTI) as we prepare to invite newer bishops to receive a vital foundation for their ministry through the input of wise and experienced senior bishops.
