The Coordinator of the Gafcon Theological Educators Network, The Rev’d Canon Dr. Bill Salier, spoke at the recent graduation ceremony of the Alexandria School of Theology (AST) in Cairo, Egypt.
Graduates shared about how their training increased their appreciation of the Scriptures, grew their passion to serve the local church, and increased their humility in general.
Canon Bill recorded some lectures on the Johannine letters, delivered a seminar on discipleship to local clergy, and participated in the new podcast project which is serving local churches with sermons based on the Anglican lectionary readings.
Pray for the Gafcon Theological Educators Network as it seeks to strengthen seminaries like AST, sharing resources, expertise and encouragement as it helps form pastors and teachers for the advance of the gospel.
