One of the key themes of the Abuja Affirmation, emerging from the Gafcon Global G26 Conference, is the call for a clearly confessional Anglican identity grounded in the Jerusalem Declaration and historic Anglican teaching.
We thank God for the unity that comes when believers share a common confession centred on Christ and rooted in the authority of Scripture. This shared faith binds together Anglicans from many nations and cultures.
Pray that the Global Anglican Communion will continue to be strengthened by this clear and faithful confession. Ask God to deepen unity among faithful Anglicans around the world so that together they may guard God’s gospel, stand firm in biblical truth, and proclaim Christ faithfully to the nations.
